The Magic Sling 12.0 is manufactured using a completely new production process - a core of round-wound Dyneema® yarn is encased in an abrasion-resistant sheath. The result is an ultra-robust round sling that does not require a load-bearing connecting seam. Thanks to its special construction, the Magic Sling 12.0 has a significantly higher knot strength than conventional webbing slings. Thanks to the core-sheath construction (load-bearing core and protective sheath), the sling is also significantly less susceptible to damaging UV radiation and the tensile strength of the sling is not affected by abrasion from rough rock. The Magic Sling 12.0 therefore offers the absolute maximum in safety for belay station construction or as an hourglass sling. The sling's sheath construction has been revised for the 2019 summer season, making the Magic Sling 12.0 softer and more flexible.
