Adapter for mounting of Shuttle, Travel-Biker and Bike-Box2 onto a rack |
| The Shuttle, Travel-Biker and Tour-Box are provided with a system
for fixing to a bike rack. This ensures the products can be attached
to almost any rack or bike available. Panniers with the ORTLIEB QL1
or QL2 system, can also be mounted to the adapter aluminium tube (8mm
diameter) to the right and left side. The rigid mounting plate ensures
simple and secure fixing. Further, a bicycle basket can be fixed onto the adapter (ORTLIEB basket adapter article code E160 is required), operating the release button at the base of the adapter plate, removes the products comfortably and easily. The mounting plate is ideally fixed away from the saddle as far as possible in order to guarantee maximum heel clearance on the panniers. The adapter is also available separately e.g. for use on a second bike. This allows using bags and panniers on different bikes (article code E 159). Maximum load capacity of the adapter is 25 kg. However, maximum load capacity of the rack should be adhered to. |

Mounting set for Ultimate5 handlebar bag Lockable mounting block for simple, fast and secure fixing by means of a cable around handlebars with diameters between 22 and 31,8mm. The lock prevents the bag being stolen from the handlebar. Second key is included. Each handlebar bag is supplied with a mounting set. Also suitable for all Ultimate2,3 and Ultimate4 models (article E164) The front of the mounting block bears an ORTLIEB logo which reflects in the dark and is visible when you are riding without a handlebar bag. |

Extension adapter for mounting system of Ultimate4 The standard mounting block with every Ultimate handlebar bag may sometimes be too short for very shaped or bent handlebars, as for example the models by Modolo, Yuma or Humpert CONTEST. To mount to these handlebars: use the extension block (available as an accessory, article E165) between mounting block and handlebar bag. |

Mounting system for Saddle-Bag The Saddle-Bag mounting system is fixed with three screws set 45° to rear of the two saddle tubes. This allows fixing the bag from above. The distance of the bag to the seatpost may be adjusted at the mounting plate on the top side of the bag. A Velcro strap at the lower end of the bag is an additional fixation around the seatpost and prevents the bag from moving. For removal simply open the Velcro, press the release button and pull the bag backwards out of the mounting. The mounting system is also available separately, e.g. for use on a second bike (article code E 97). The Saddle-Bag is fixed with a strap set (article code F96E) to coil spring saddles or to some models of Brookes saddles. Design of these saddles does not allow use of the standard fixing system. |
