c_change™, a new membrane technology from schoeller®
is based on a example in the nature. As a matter of fact, it copies
the effect that a fir cone opens and closes in response to different
weather conditions. c_change™ membrane reacts to different prevailing
conditions. In doing so, not only temperature but also air and body
moisture are balanced out.
|
|
Areas of use: For non elastic and highly elastic waterproof garments. Tapes possible for absolute water proofness. |
|
Open in response to heat or increased activity:
At high temperatures, or during sporting activity, the structure of the c_change™ membrane opens as body moisture levels rise. Excess heat can escape to the outside air. |
|
Closed in response to cold or reduced activity:
Due to the lower level of body moisture development in cold weather or during periods of inactivity, the structure of the membrane closes, retaining the heat directly at the body. Shivering or chilling is effectively prevented. |
12200 | c_change™ is a water and windproof membrane technology that is able to adjust its own vapor permeability. Composition: 70% Polyamide, 26% Polyurethane, 4% Elasthan. Weight: 205 g. |
12503 | Very comfortable to wear thanks to its high breathability, elasticity and effective moisture management. This 2-layer fabric provides protection from wind and rain. Material: Face material: 93% Polyamide, 7% Elastane; Membrane: 100% Polyurethane; Weight: 175 g/m². |
