The slim, foldable Katadyn BeFree Gravity 6L filtration system uses gravity to provide fresh, clean water you can rely on. At the heart of the BeFree Gravity 6L is the EZ-Clean Membrane™, which enables an exceptionally fast flow rate of up to 2 liters per minute. The water passes through a hollow-fiber filter with a pore size of 0.1 microns (0.0001 mm), reliably removing bacteria, cysts, and sediment. Thanks to the viewing window, the water level inside the filter bag is clearly visible. With the practical carrying strap, the filled filter can easily be transported from the water source back to camp and hung from a nearby tree. The outlet hose can be quickly detached using a quick-release valve with automatic flow stop, preventing contact with contaminated water during refilling.
Filtered water can be stored in a separate canister, bottle, or water bladder. The opening of the container used for filtered water should be as small as possible to prevent dirt from entering. If the filtered water is not used on the same day, it can be safely and easily preserved with Katadyn Micropur.
