The Booster is light, ultra-sensitive shoe bouldering and sport climbing on small edges and smears. An asymmetrical, downturned shape and a one-third length Vibram® XS Grips 2 sole creates a flexible shoe that allows more natural movement through overhanging, thin routes. The DTS rand enhances powerful movements through dynamic problems by concentrating the strength of the foot through an asymmetrical support ribbon; driving energy to the forefoot while the PAF system helps reduce over-compression of the toes and provides a snug fitting heel.
All of this adds up to create an extremely precise climbing shoe ideal for moving
with precision over technical and overhanging rock.
- UPPER MATERIAL 6-panel microfiber upper, seamless toe box for the big toe
made of Alcantara for the best possible fit. An outer layer of 1.6 mm microfiber,
embedded in a hexagonal ceramic pattern, for excellent abrasion resistance.
- MIDSOLE 0.1mm Flexan Plastic Midsole under the forefoot provides stability,
but at the same time the heel remains flexible. Three notches in the middle
ensure flexibility of the forefoot and a better footprint.
- ACTIVE RANDING 2mm Dual Tension System guides the tension in the big toe
and emphasizes the asymmetrical shape. Lateral elevations increase stability.
The SCARPA® PAF system (Pressure Absorbing Fit) also increases comfort
in the heel. By interrupting the elastic on the heel, the system creates a
thinner layer and therefore adapts better to the foot.
- SOLE Vibram® GRIP² for high flexibility and sensitivity.
